First offering the spectral bundle for extra money, getting a bloody sh*tstorm and then stepping back. A couple of months ago.

I bought UAD Mix Edition just 4 days ago. I would have got a better deal if I waited, for about 110€ more I would have got way more plugins (and I'm actually interested in some of them... they are not among my priorities, so I opted for the Mix Edition - and, looking back, I'm happy I didn't go for a more expensive bundle - but I would have spent those 110€ on top of what I paid to get what's on sale now).
I knew there was a chance for black friday deals, but I hoped for "balanced" upgrade/crossgrade paths, not for a far better promo right after the previous promo ended (litteraly the very next day).

I can live with it (already bought what I "need"), but I wouldn't mind a few more tools for a reasonable price... especially when it's litteraly a matter of a few days... Anyways, these things do happen. They do hurt, but I guess I'll have to live with it...

They pissed off some of the long term users with the recent sales, then found a way to piss off some of the new users.

I’m seeing lots of grumbles about the cloud licensing too.

I definitely don’t need the latest bundle. It would be fun to have some of the new native releases, but I don’t need them. If they have a more attractive offer for single items, I’ll consider it.

It's crazy! Ok, growth is their priority. But engaging in such actions - not least towards users who've been new customers for a matter of DAYS?!

It's bad enough they've completely ignored the concept of GRACE PERIODS. But it takes it to another level by offering all users the same pricing path as free LA-2A users! Do they expect people will stay customers for long when they see this sort of thing? Perhaps, coming from a DSP card market with limited alternatives, they might?! But this isn't that market..

Over on the UADForum board their representitive merely implied they're CONSIDERING a better crossgrade offer for Bundle users. So they haven't even committed to doing that! For legacy / non-bundle users the present pricing will, apparently, remain the best offer for now.

To call this "disappointing" treatment of customers is quite the understatement.

I've spent 900 euros for diamond bundle when they launched it, plus other 150 euros on other plugins and got same 300 dollars for signature bundle...no comment

I have spent half money but also half nearly all plugins, without the new ones and the expansive comp, also 300, I’ll have to wait until an offer matches

It's really sad that they don't offer better prices for people that have multiple plugins inside of the bundles.
I have 10 plugins from UAD and I still get $300 for Signature Bundle.

Yep. I own ⅔ of the plugins in the Signature Bundle, some of which I got in 2 smaller bundles. Still $300 for me, too.

Pricing stability is important indeed. Huge devaluation hurts of course, and I know for sure that sooner or later there could be a better deal than what I’m getting… but that’s part of the game, I buy things when I find them valuable for me and the price is right, that’s not the issue.
But if I have a feeling the price could drop (or there could be a way better deal) in a matter of days/weeks, I end into a decision paralysis situation (I want the thing but I don’t feel comfortable buying). It’s not a positive thing, both on the customer side and the company side.

I guess I’ll enjoy what I already have and call it a day, at least for now.

UAD forum is flooded.
They just have to hire some guys for marketing stuffs and when you choose a way You can’t continue to change your strategy!
