Yeah indeed, it was clear.

I meant "not for me" not as "not good" but really as "not for me as not the target audience".
I am not into hardware emulation.

Funny enough kiloheartz just released a video and mentioned about their friends Softube, who are actually neighbours from them. And they were explaining how they address 2 totally different markets and they are not competitors.

No Dynamic discount and no ability to sell what I already have to offset the cost. UAD showing us who they are.

I'll take what I would have spent on the bundle and put it into Softube and SSL purchases.

That's exactly my thing - and yet I didn't give a single cent to them so far.

I'm willing to, once the price is right for something enticing (i.e. something I at the very least have not half a dozen or more alternatives for yet) which neither requires iLok Cloud nor a dongle.

I am actually actually at the point with UAD where I have everything i need and only few possibly that I may want if I think hard enough and gas kicks in.

I have most of the compressors. I have Kiive's Xtressor so I can probably live without the UAD Distressor.

I'm sure the Sound City plugin will be great, but I'll wait for a deal on Softube's Atlantis Chambers.

I also really wanted the UAD Neve stuff, but plenty of other options out there. Especially once the FOMO dies down.

Happy about (finally) VST3 support for the DSP versions. Automatic migration is also very well done, and appreciate the new preset browser and options.

But...

Still no way to choose what formats to install (just deleted 2GB of UAD AAX, again).
And still no way to only install the plugins that you own (for the DSP versions).

If UAD doesn’t hook up us longtime customers with a better deal on the Signature Bundle, I’ll be unlikely to buy from them again. I own almost all the plugins in the bundle (payed pre-native prices), not to mention $5k+ in hardware, yet anyone who’s never purchased from them before who got a free plugin last month gets the same upgrade price. That’s insane. UAD need to do better and take care of us.

If they don't change their mind about treating loyal customers then I'll go away and see my spendings in UAD as sunk money.

I understand this sentiment as I also as a long term user would like a good discount to 'round out' what I don't own.

I have more than half this bundle, it would be great if they gave a discount in proportion to this.

It's not bad value for the ones I don't have... But it does feel unfair to not get more discount. New customers getting good deals, fine... but give good deals to existing customers too.

Well last year... And tbh I felt it was a storm in a teacup. What it showed me was that, some of, the Bitwig user base were amongst the most highly strung, overreacting bunch of people on the planet.

Not sure UAD offering/experimenting different discount bundles, as their market changes, is such a big deal either.
