You will lose access to packs which you were using through all access on new sessions, but not any sessions or saved work. Packs with the AA symbol in the Stream denote packs available through all access, check marks indicate packs which you own. There also is a new "owned" filter in the Stream. Any packs you have previously purchased with Minimal Audio will show as owned inside of Current already, as well as any samples previously credited through the web version of the Stream.

After the year of all access, any sessions / sounds / patches /etc, will all continue to load in sessions correctly. The packs & content will show a locked icon, with the option to unlock / purchase them perpetually if you like the pack.
Just to clarify, if in the distant future I have a track with an AA preset in a saved session but no longer have All Access, will I be able to edit the synth parameters in that instance, or only play the preset as it was last saved?

Also, is there no way to use the arpeggiator without being locked to a scale or am I missing something? A chromatic mode seems like a no-brainer but I can't find it.

Lastly, I'd like to request being able to assign MIDI CCs to control various parameters in the synth. I like to use my hardware synth as a controller for software whenever possible, and synths like Vital and Diva make this very easy.

Spend $120 and receive $180 per year of loyalty credit redeemable on any Minimal Audio product.

Bonus credit can be used to save on any perpetual licenses, resulting in a 33% discount."

It is the entire $180 I can use towards a perpetual license, not just the bonus $60 right?

That is is loyalty credit and bonus credit the same thing?

Thanks for listening !

questions:
1. i find the presets to represent a very small "window of soundesthethics", as is.
If future versions will have more or changed presets, i´d suspect these will become available also to folks who purchase right now ?

2. what, if i go for rent2own, and would download presets from the "then" available soundpacks, and take these as a base for my own sounds, and re-save those then. These will never be locked ?
Which opens the question, how will you handle all this. Where do you draw the line ?
I think thats still somehow unclear, perpetutal vs. rent model. You finally can´t protect yourself if you allow for edit+resave.
Where is there the line ?

3. i have the $139 offer, since i own all FX.
but going the rent2own route seems to have advantages vs. finding me some useful presets as a startbase for edit+save.
Will the situation as is remain ?.......= would i end up with the quasi same price. Perpetual now: $139 ( or euros, not sure) vs. then: $180 credit, + add another $19 to the then allready forked out $120 ( = same final price: $139 payed in total)
this remains, no risk to lose vs. our $139 offer ?

( its not a software i need, or will make much use of it ( since my game lies elsewhere). So, watching my costs is here what i just have to do. Its a $140 for you, and for me 3-4 evenings with it, a year / thats how it looks for some of us ;) jfyi)

and thanks for your great communciation ! Thats Great to see !
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

After an hour of intensive testing, I join the positive opinions about the quality of Current. A very refined and balanced, full sound. But what is more important to me is the quick and smooth workflow. You immediately find your way, everything is well laid out in an organized and clear manner, and it's really enjoyable to explore the sound. Really well done MA!
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also a bit confused with what is the factory bank and what are the packs.
Is it what we have in the trial, the factory bank only and there will be additional packs released later than the perpectual owners can buy?
or...
Cause when I look in Stream and I look in Presets I see a lot of overlap.
?

Maybe there is a FAQ that answers all of these, let me go look..
sorry

Correct, the patch will still load entirely as you had it on All-Access with full access to everything, just loading new instances of the patch would be blocked.

If the synth itself, was not owned perpetually and you cancelled all-access, then only the audio engine would work, the UI will boot, but the audio engine runs the same.

We can make a list of the packs that are included as the Factory content, for now, all the of the v1 presets aside from the one we shipping post launch are included as factory content. We'll be adding a lot more preset packs.

I think it's tough to make everyone happy with factory presets in general, as we add packs we'll probably continue to re-curate the factory content to have a wider variety of sounds, but I'm not sure what that will look like for previous purchasers yet. For people signing up today, you're getting credit on the pack level of the packs in there, which themselves will grow to 50 presets a pack. If people wanted to change their factory content offering we could probably make it more flexible in the future and let you pick the packs you want to come with the perpetual.

There will always be some holes / opportunities for people to try to steal things. In that case, the preset will still load, we're not going to break your presets. -- the AA is all about new content.

Yes, both options will result in very similar pricing & experiences if you go perpetual vs 1 year.

I know I am firing ten questions a second..
Did you see the one about loyalty credit vs bonus credit?
Are they the same?

And two more questions.. I assume midi learn is on the to do list?
Also how do I transfer the information of what I have favourited from mac to pc or vice versa?
Is that info stored in the preset or is it on a datbase file somewhere?

edit: Think I found the database file, let me take it across to my pc and see if it works.
thanks

CURRENTLY ;) if you play the same note in succession the amp envelope resets and cuts the voice, any plans to add more flexibility with envelopes and retriggering etc? voice options? or am I missing something somewhere?
Only in mono mode like Sylenth1, or in poly mode?

So how do I just download all the factory presets? I've only got a handful in my local presets but then over on the stream presets there are much more than 340. Just want to download the factory presets and start there.
