I'm toying with purchasing a perpetual license, just put off by the limited number of usable presets. Would be good to see the factory library increased with far more diversity without having to purchase future packs.

Fair enough, to be transparent, when we have more packs up, I will probably re-jigger the factory content to contain a spread of presets across various packs -- or ideally, I think it would be cool to allow people to pick X amount of presets themselves. When we have that change setup, I'd be happy to allow people to swap to the new factory content.

We have a lot of unreleased presets, if anything the biggest bottle neck for us right now is just how much we have to get out the door so quickly. 4 more plugins, >1k new presets, and 3 more in progress effects, plus updates and our need to continue to refine the webpage and attempt to overcome the initial launch.

But -- we shall get through it, and then we have even larger plans : )

I cant see this specified anywhere so far but wanted to know if the perpetual license was for Current 1.0 only and subject to future upgrade fees when this new feature content gets added OR does it include all future versions of Current as is the case with Serum, Phaseplant, Pigments?

I just want to have a way to ensure that I only ever download/install factory bank, so that in a year's time i convert ny one year credits to perpetual license and not have to pay extra for things I have been inadvertently using that were aa and not part of the factory bank.

I'd like to see the AA content completely siloed from the factory content.

I don't my wife to see that I paid 1.99 for a wavetable of a polar bear.

The checkmark filter will show you only the content which is included factory or you have purchased perpetually. You can feel totally fine to use the AA content, it will not lock on old sessions -- perhaps I should add a button in the synth to disable the AA optionally? -- what I'm saying is, all that being on AA allows you to do is load any content, once the content is loaded, it is loaded, there are no more checks.

Right now what we have planned are three new effects, a bunch of enhancements, and being focused on feedback for Current, all of which will be free. We don't have any plans to charge for Current upgrades, do a 2.0, or anything like that. -- More modulators will be added, basically anything related to Current as synthesizer will always be a free upgrade for Current owners.

The original vision of the product is obviously changing rapidly as we get feedback, but the original plan was to add more types of instruments themselves inside of Current. So what you have right now is the Current synthesis engine. If those make sense to add inside of Current, or to have be standalone is not clear yet. We'll likely ask people what they would prefer. - It seems there's good reasons I hadn't considered as to why everyone has such extensive product catalogues spanning so many different products doing similar things -- people want options.

Where are user imported wavetables get saved??
I imported a bunch of Serum Wavetables and was assuming it goes to the folder next to the user presets but it´s still empty... nonetheless the wavetables appear in the list...

Which brings me to the next questions...
There was somewhere mentioned in some post how to import directly a bunch of wavetables from a folder... I forgot how to do it and don´t find the post anymore...

Is there anyway to organize user imported wavetables...? Atm I only got them in one long list without any ability to give further informations...

It looks like you're in local mode there, click cloud on the top right and the preview will appear. -- if you preview it, it'll cache for offline. The preview comes with the content automatically.. I'm wondering if something got off fussing around with the database or perhaps quitting before the factory install finished? -- I'm writing some code which does automated checks to resolve stuff like that, but going online will fix it in the meantime.

If you want to see what you have downloaded that's not a part of factory, you can just click the downloaded filter -- but when you're in local mode it's only showing your downloaded content regardless.

If I use a preset from AA, modify it and save it as my own user preset...
Is this user preset still 100% working, useable and tweakable in future even without AA or does it not work anymore because of using i.e. an wavetable from an AA pack??

It doesn't make copies of wavetables you import, it's pointing to their original locations on your drive -- if you move the wavetables you'll need to reimport or Current will ask you to update the path to it. When you save a preset, there's a checkbox to embed user content so if you want to send presets around the embedded ones come with it.

Which brings me to the next questions...

If you're not on the latest you should snag it and you should see this. They stay organized for now as the folder it was imported as.

This works.

If someone tries to like -- resave all the presets and steal everything that would be concerning and also a lot of work to save $15, but as part of a regular creative process we want to support this.

It will stay $139 forever if you purchase the Current bundle and own all the effects, but the Current bundle will grow in size as the rest of the effects are added. When you purchase the Current bundle you're only purchasing the standalone effects which were available at the time of purchase, which is listed on the product page.
