Clip won't split close to the end, when zoomed in.

My clips won't split, close the end, when zoomed in. If I zoom out, I can't split it accurately. It only happens when the split I need is very close to the end of the clip. Is this normal? Is there a way around it?

Split basically creates a second copy of the clip with the end of clip 1 butting up to the start of clip 2. But all the hidden waveform is still there if you resize either clip. Sooo, if I understand properly, what I do is split roughly where I want and then zoom right in and make fine adjustments by resizing the end/start of clip and put a fade in/out to avoid the pop.

Oh yes - that does work; thank you! I had forgotten that you can reveal the hidden waveform by dragging the triangle in the clip's top bar (probably because I never understood it). You just explained it, and it's much appreciated!dysjoint wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 6:48 pm Split basically creates a second copy of the clip with the end of clip 1 butting up to the start of clip 2.
