I just submitted to UAD an official request to get a Crossgrade to Signature bundle from my 22 plugins bought singularly or with crossgrade offers, let's see what they say..
In the Forum they are saying they are working on making crossgrade offers for existing customers.

They've doubled down, edited and removed evidence of dynamic discounts, tried to gaslight people into believing they never HAD dynamic discount offers, and are now arguing semantics over per plugin discounts and dynamic offers on Bundles.

I hope they get pirated and lose a tonne of money over this, lol. They'll wish they still had their loyal customers then.

I'm sorry for being petty :scared:
I'm quite sure they can't be so blind not to upgrade their selling strategy to 2023 standards and not medieval ones . In the forum they say they're working on this.
I paid 340 euro for 22 plugins a month ago.. now I'm willing to pay extra 100 (max) to get all the juice (particularly interested in the distressor), but not more, considering that if I had waited I would have to pay 0 :tantrum:

In addition to below, seems some BF bundles are on the to way make thing whole, but I’m waiting to see more as I’m confused by this mess.
Hi all,
I have gotten our upgrade offers fast-tracked. Support has coupons available for these users that allow:

Creative to upgrade to Producer for $50.
Mix to upgrade to Studio for $100.
Diamond to upgrade to Signature for $150.

We had hoped to have these deals ready at launch but are running a little behind.

Please open a ticket to get your coupon now. We will be following up with the already planned offers via email, but I wanted to get these out now for all the users looking to upgrade NOW.

OK but..

a) diamond bundle could not be purchased by native users (I know because I thought about getting it)
b) diamond bundle was more than 400 bucks anyway, no they ask 150 more (550 total) to get something that a new user would pay 330 for?

Someone in that same link has a similar problem… no actionable comments from UA reps, but I’d suggest pointing that out to them too in a support request.

So UADs two new plugins only 349$....each. Wow that's cheap....not. Why would anyone pay that much for a plugin today? :clown: Ppl with too much money? For the price of both of them I can get a good guitar second hand.

no man, for that price you get all 48 native plugins. :singer:
native means you don't need one of their cards/systems to use them, and you can rune as many instances as you want in your DAW (provided that your CPU supports it)

They have crossgrade offers for recent bundle buyers (so if you bought Bundle X for $300 two weeks ago you can now pay $150 more to get the same Signature bundle a new buyers would get for $240).

Their official word via the UAD forum rep is that there are no upgrade offers for owners of individual plugins and that feedback will be passed on that owners want them (which, uh, seems pretty obvious).

Ive spent 320 eu on few uad plugins this year while on HUGE Sale that i couldve get for dirt cheap if i waited few months plus plugins i also still want that are in those cheap bundles. Tbh such huge sales from uad makes me distrust the company and not want to buy anything till after months. This behaviour reminds me of Waves.

Great products but Waves marketing type of behaviour makes me puke, doesnt feel like premium thing at all.

Are you sorry? Lots of people spent years making these UAD plug ins as good as they are. And you want to threaten their job security. That's pretty sad.

It's clearly not so easy to transition to a wider consumer customer base. Sure they want new customers and old customers want fairness, hard to juggle both, but personally I've had great deals from them over the years, so will give them the benefit of the doubt in terms of intentions.

yet, a UAD guy said that they are working on creating new crossgrade offers and suggested people to fill in tickets and ask for crossgrades.

I did get a bundle but it was a very cheap one (50 bucks), whereas I bought the other plugins on sale. I think it would be sensible, as many other companies do, to offer crossgrade to people who bought individual plugins as well, since they probably payed more money than those who bought bundles.
Output, for instance, lowered their total bundle offer by more than 100 bucks to me after I registered a single plugin that I payed 18 bucks here.
When UAD ppl will figure out that if they act like this they'll lose a lot of customers and miss profit opportunities, that is that we are in 2023, they'll start acting smart and being reasonable.
I'm wondering what is wrong with their marketing/sales manager atm.

It is not only a lack of reasonable offers but it's an annoying and inconsistent behaviour. People are complaining that they are getting weird crossgrade offers for plugins or bundles that they already own! I keep getting 100 bucks offer for stuff that I already have. Their automated system is rigged.

"12 Days of UAD" sale has started ($49 for select plugins every day), but at this point, I think, unless you really want only one or two plugins in which case you could wait for the day that plugin goes for $49 and then grab it as is or with a thank you coupon, I'd just grab the Studio Bundle ($250) or Signature Bundle ($300) - especially after contacting UA support to help with some kind of coupon since you would own a lot of the included plugins already. I am waiting for a reply on my request. Let's see.

Hope they will put the Distressor on sale...
