Arturia ver 10 is not released until 2014.
V Collection 7 was released in Apr 19
V Collection 8 was released in Dec 20
V Collection 9 was released in May 22

V Collection 10 could be released next month

Last year was Pigments 4, so it may be more likely. :)

I'm quite sure V10 will add Acid, MiniFreak, rebuilt Arp 2600, a new Augmented Woodwinds and Piano V4

Where does the ARP 2600 rebuild rumor come from….? I hope it’s true! To me that’s the classic synth in most need of a top quality recreation.

My guess is
Added: Acid v, Augmented Brass, Augmented Piano (really wish they'd separate the Aug series)
Remake: Arp 2600, Wurlie V3
New: Roland 606 or at least something drum related, plus one new synth

AFAIK, someone's ass. I think someone thought it would be good and lots of people agreed.

Oh yeah, I remember occasionally pulling it from there. :hihi:
As for me, It's just what I guess is likely coming, so take it with a generous amount of salt.

I predict I'll be very annoyed by the upgrade cost I'm offered as an owner of a polybrute, matrixbrute, minibrute se, minibrute 2, microbrute, 1/2 a dozen arturia midi controllers and all V collections since version four...
not mentioning the individual licences I own for things like pigments, sem, spark, analog lab etc
not mentioning those at all...
I should start charging arturia rent for the amount of space they take up in my cave....
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

I'm pretty convinced that the Farfisa is the best thing Arturia has ever done. I've sunk so many hours into it now.

I'd like them to try and Ondes Martenot emulation or any of those early century electronic machines.

Then, when V10 is released, Arturia will offer you custom introductory upgrade pricing. It always works out so that you pay more or less the same for the upgrade either way in the end.

If you wait, you'll pay what you would have paid for V9 + the upgrade to V10 from V9. But if you buy V9 when it's on sale instead of waiting, you get to use the V9 plugins sooner, and break up the inevitable cost into two smaller chunks.

So it's a question of if you should pay 50% now and 50% later and get to use it in the meantime, or pay 100% later and wait until then to use any of it.
The BF sale has begun. I have v8 and the SQ80, and as per the last sale my upgrade price is €99. Since I also have the CS80 v4 as a freebie from Steinberg, there's not a whole lot for me in v9 - I have the u-he repros, the Korg MS20 and Arturia's previous Prophets so even the ones I don't have I have variations of. The Augmented series I'm not so fussed about.

Interested to know what v7 owners' upgrade price is. If Jamcat is right, I may as well buy v10 in installments. Then there's the extra sound banks in v9, wonder if they'll all be included in 10 or if it'll be different stuff.

...to make my situation more complicated, I'm pretty sure that the opening offers for a new V version are not the best ones. So I'd likely get €199 on launch, but if I waited a year it would likely get cheaper. And I'm pretty happy with what I've got so...
