Was hoping for a nice price on Acid V, but I guess that'll have to wait for another time.

I have to admit their BF sale is a little bit disappointing.. My special offers are VC 9 upgrade & FXC 4 crossgrade. I already own both of them so I don't know why they think I'd want them. "Special" offers indeed

I was hoping for an offer on Minifreak V as I missed out last year. I already own all their other stuff - no offers at all for me this time around.

Meanwhile, a nice little freebie for those with Arturia's Analog Lab - 32 presets called Modern Lab, shamelessly re-creating some famous patches by the likes of Grimes, Radiohead, MGMT, Tame Impala, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. It's there in the Analog Lab store to download.
Always amazes me how little interest there seems to be in huge artists like these in synth banks.

V7 here, same upgrade price. There's stuff I want in V9, the Juno, the Oberheim, the Ensoniq... but unfortunately without the Minifreak V... my budget is limited and I'd rather spend it on other software this Black Friday. If there's a similar offer for V10 for Christmas and it includes the Minifreak V, I'll probably get that instead of something else, but for now I'm going to wait.noiseboyuk wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 5:41 pm Interested to know what v7 owners' upgrade price is. If Jamcat is right, I may as well buy v10 in installments. Then there's the extra sound banks in v9, wonder if they'll all be included in 10 or if it'll be different stuff.

The next time I hear that I have a mixer problem (I might, I have a lot of mixers), I'm going to cite your guitar count as evidence that I am nowhere near the problem stage. Then I'm going to order another mixer. In fact, I just called my guy, new mixer incoming.werp wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 12:35 amnot really, I just have way to much stuff....guitar count = just shy of sixty.Pynchonian wrote: Mon Nov 13, 2023 11:54 pm I'm pretty convinced that the Farfisa is the best thing Arturia has ever done. I'd like them to try and Ondes Martenot emulation or any of those early century electronic machines.

not mentioning the individual licences I own for things like pigments, sem, spark, analog lab etc
not mentioning those at all...
I should start charging arturia rent for the amount of space they take up in my cave....

Thanks, all good to know. I'm good to wait a while I think.PebbleInAStream wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 8:21 pmV7 here, same upgrade price. Being tempted by the FX collection though, even though I own a billion. Made the stupid mistake of trying the online interactive demos and they're awfully nice.

I've got a confusing offer on the FX collection. I have FX V2 with an update price of $99 and a cross grade price of $69.
I'm wondering what I'd be cross grading from, or maybe they just don't want to call it an update price?

Both upgrades and crossgrades link new products to old. The crossgrade probably links your free products so you won't be able to sell transfer the freebies, which I don't think you can anyway, if you crossgrade. The upgrade will still link to the old product, but only to your FX V2.felis wrote: Wed Nov 15, 2023 3:45 am I've got a confusing offer on the FX collection. I downloaded Pigments demo few times during its evolution and I wasn’t excited about it…
Again, I got the usual BF discount and I did it again: Demo, demo, demo (20 minutes each
).
This time I discovered the Monster!
It is actually an insane offer for this synth and I’m really surprised (I should know better
) that there is not much talking here on KVR.
I can see myself using it more often than Omnisphere for the marvelous refreshing workflow.
I was experimenting with the new kid in town but after awhile I decided to opt out. Not impressed even though the FX where fun to use.
I think I will explore Arturia’s world in more depth now…
