Anyone getting a pricing bug for Kontakt updates? When I go to the Cyber deal main page, with all the listings, it says my update price is $49.50, but when I click on Kontakt, it defaults to a crossgrade price of $99.50 from really random products that I don’t even own.

The upgrade price gets greyed out (can still click on it though) and it tells me I need some version of Kontakt 1-6… despite purchasing a prior crossgrade to version 6 from 5 back in June 2020…

Are you able to get it from a reseller? It's shown on Plugin Boutique at the correct price and you get the virtual cash thing.

Can confirm that this kinda works still... for me anyway. I had the old version of Analog Lab (paid something like E30 during the summer sale?) and I had an ancient SEM version I got on one of the KvR charity auctions. My price for V9 was E199 - I was expecting it to be 50% so I had budgeted for E299.

Pigments offer was E69 - bought it...
And then V9 offer went down to E149 (from initially being E199) - bought it...
And then FX Collection was E69 (from E129 after I got Pigments)

So got Pigments and FX Collection for E13 less than I thought V9 would cost on its own.

What's the cheapest route to get most of the Arturia software collection with V Collection, FX Collection and Pigments? In previous sales there used to be a specific order that made crossgrades cheaper.

Yes a bit, i am just waiting a comment of someone that own the pigments to see the crossgrade cost of the VC9, but i think is the same. with just 289$ i think you can get all the plugins, just updating the FX Collection 4 for 69$ is the unique change.

Does anyone know if all these early Black Friday deals are as good as they will likely get? For instance, Izotope has some 25% sales; is there any chance they will go to 50% on Black Friday? Just based on previous years.

I think it's always better on the day. I'm waiting for BF to officially arrive before spending any more.

Some companies are getting ahead of BF by offering their 'lowest sale of the year' before BF. But they state it clearly.

Others are in 'cyber days', etc. leading up to BF, but likely still less than what it will be on BF and cyber Monday.

Some are even less on cyber Monday but you take a risk in missing out as some aren't. You have to check to be sure.

Just logged into my Slate account (currently have an all access pass), and there was an announcement that by "upgrading" your pass, you get access to all the SSL plugins as well. It turns out the "upgrade" is just about renewing your current pass, so it doesn't cost any more than what you are currently paying. I chose to pay a year in advance, which was 142.50, which comes out to less than $12 a month for all of the Slate and SSL plugins.

Main reason would be if you wanted to buy/use specific libraries of samples that have only been made for Kontakt e.g. I like Sound Dust and most of their stuff is only on Kontakt though you don’t need the latest version.

You can convert some types of Kontakt instruments to Halion using Translator 7 from Chicken Systems.

I was just checking when V8 and V7 came out. There seems to be a 20 month cycle. So your guess is probably right.
