Tracktion Waveform 12 Free - staff misaligned in midi editing

See how misaligned are the darker note rows compared to the keyboard on the left. It is impossible to edit like this. Anyone else has this problem?

That's strange, not normal, never seen that (on Windows anyway). What version and platform? Hope someone else can chime in for you.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Piano keys themselves aren't equal in size. Is it that the note lines across the grid aren't matching with the black lines separating the white keys? It would look a bit better if you were in the key of C. (If you want the view to remain in the key of C, turn off Settings -> Appearance -> MIDI Note Colour -> Highlight current key in MIDI background.)
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Thanks! This is it. I thought the highligting was just influencing the colour of the in key/off key notes, but not the note lanes. Surprise, surprise.
