Would you know where to configure the path to an external audio editor, maybe in some configuration file of Waveform Free 12.5.11?

The problem I have is this one:
There exists for the CLIP a functionality, which also can be assigned to a keyboard shortcut:

clip: launch external editor

In a video about an older version of Tracktion Waveform it was visible where to set the path to the external audio editor, but I did not find this configuration in Waveform Free 12.5.11. It can be called an external editor, and it can be set a keyboard shortcut for calling it, but as it cannot be configured in the GUI which aurio editor app should be launched, I currently cannot maee usage of this functionality.

Assuming you have an Edit open and it includes and audio clip...

Step #0: Open the Control Panel at the bottom
Step #1: Select an audio clip
Step #2: Choose "View Source Info" in the Control Panel
Step #3: Click "Edit Audio File"
Step #4: Choose "Set the audio editor to use..."
Surely there must be consensus by now...

#4 is my problem: there is no option "Set audio editor to use..."
There is only option "Launch this wave file in its default application..." which opens my multimedia player, and I would like my multimedia player to stay the global default app for playing wav files, if possible.

What's your OS? I've heard that it doesn't work on Linux.

I am on Linux. So, bad luck today. Did you hear if this might become fixed?
