Interested to play a Track1 applying all its configured Fx and record it to Track 2, I only found to proceed this in realtime. Can this be processed in Waveform Free 12.5.11 as quick as the computer system is capable to do this, probably much faster than in real time?

Yes, this works! Thanks a lot!
Before fully believing you that it can indeed render to a another clip/track, I needed to very patiently try it out after this icon to me as a new user to Waveform (on Linux, KDE) initially did not seem to work at all. I figured out that much patience was required, because it took in several attempts between 10 to 15 seconds (!) until the GUI showed that a wave is attached to the dragging hand. Then I could place this to the target track. It took another 5 to 10 seconds (!) until a popup window asked if I want to paste at BWAV time or current cursor position time. Eventually it rendered the new clip and this part of the procedure was fast as desired.

Just select Render in the actions menu. Then you have the option (among others) to render to the next track.

This works nicely! Thanks a lot!
Some filled triangle " > " to the right behind the commands in the menu popping up after having called "RENDER CLIP > " would announce that there are more options waiting, and not letting a user shy away from the not precisely defined process waiting upon activating a function like "RENDER THE SELECTED CLIP". If the developers read this: please consider to consistently name all the functions calling more options with the " > ", in this case i.e. "RENDER THE SELECTED CLIP > ".
