How in Waveform Free 12.5.11 let the play (and/or even record) button know where is the final end of the edit and where playing (recording) should automatically stop?
The problem I have is this one:
Playback of my edit does not stop automatically when the end of the last clip is reached. I could kind of work around this by setting the IN and OUT markers and treat the time inbetween as a loop, and at least let the playback loop instead of running into everlasting silence being played. But in this case it wouldbe lost the original position of the markers where I wanted them to stay in order to return there for further editing of that selected region. And this wrokaround is also not a 1x time only playback.
how to mark the end time of the edit, not using already occupied In and Out markers

There is no way as far as I know. Just use the spacebar to stop. You can use the marker track to set markers which allow you to use keystrokes to jump to specific locations in the timeline.
