Wow! U-He plugins on sale. That was unexpected, and kind of disrupts my shopping list. Must reconsider.

Yep, there is, when the PA sold this Suite there were rumors about the path. I was a little late to catch that deal. If anybody has the suite, it would be light for us.

It wasn't rumors. It wasn't an upgrade path. It was:

U-he sale was unexpected! Finally got Bazille, the only U-he synth I didn't have.

I just took a look at the PA sale and... meh. I guess I own licenses for everything available that I want to own.
It is the same for U-He, but I feel much less "meh" about it, because all the old stuff is still fantastic.

PAs deals look worse than they had before. There's not much exciting about it anymore. Usually they had new ideas for deals, but now they look like "produced" deals which are calculated by a calculator.

UAD won this year in deals and even they were messy a bit, still exciting to follow.

PA, also since they produced worse and worse updates really needs to win me (or possibly others) back by doing something exceptional. Maybe on Black Friday itself (sale or product wise). Otherwise they will be forgotten. I haven't bought a thing from them since 1+ year.
(Honorable mention is Silver Bullet, which is great and I got as NFR from the developers)

Edit Add: what I really don't get. PA had the "heavy hitters" earlier. Which was a good loyalty scheme and really kept me buying from them. Usually new plugins could be had for around $50. Now it's all gone, I don't get it. I had almost everything and still bought the new stuff. How would you cancel something like that. But if they think it's ok to only serve the subscribers, so be it. Another reason why I never gelled with Slate.

It's interesting that Waves took over PA for the less than $20 plugins and PA has become Waves with always $30 plugin sales now, maybe closer to BF PA will give those $20 off vouchers that are 1 time use that you can use on the $30 voucher plugs

Is this the first official sale u-he have hosted on their own site in a long time?

I know they had the partnership deals with N.I. for the last few black friday seasons, but I don't remember the last time I saw a sale on u-he's own website.

The only down side about this, is that I can't take full advantage of it, since I already own most of their plugins already.

However, I just bought Uhbik as that was the last one remaining to complete my u-he collection.

If there's one company I don't feel bad about having paid full price for, for many of their plugins however, it has got to be u-he. More power to them. I hope they make a lot of money over this 'Autumn Sale' period.

imho, everyone who doesn't currently own their plugins, should take full advantage of this great 50% off bargain deal, while they can.

Got the same with the Toolbox Ultimate just now. Fair enough, it did seem like a pricing error but worth taking a punt as you never know.
