I don't know if it's just what I have on my list but I get the feeling that the BF announcements are late this year. I'm looking for

HALion 7 upgrade - there was something about testing a sale using the new payment system but that was back in Sept and was by invite only

Liquidsonics - no mention of a sale yet.

Digital Sound Factory - usually do 30% sales several times a year.

Sononym - heavily hinted there will be a BF sale as they were telling people it's an ideal time to start the 30 day trial a week or two back..

Yes of course. And it seems for certain countries the developers take Black Friday as that day, not a week or so before. And there is also Christmas coming so they may wait for that.

Loved your Comet deal for $29, and also got GateKeeper a few years back for $15. Both good plugins and have some unique possibilities for certain effects.
In the current landscape/time unfortunately I have to consider twice or more often if tool makes sense to get for $49 and up. So I have to demo and compare with my existing tools, but time is rare, so I postpone it when there's time (eg, to next year).
When you have $29 deals like with Comet my demo time is shorter and I will probably buy when it fits my workflow easier. (more impulse buy territory).
You have good plugins, and I'm interested, but as said, no time to demo longer and compare against my current favorites.

If there's one company I don't feel bad about having paid full price for, for many of their plugins however, it has got to be u-he.

Diva at full price was the best bargain I've ever gotten. 12 years later and it's still my most used synth.

What is the consensus around here about the UAD SPARK sub for a year for 99 bucks?

The bundles don't cost much more than that. The sub will give you access to new plugins, and they usually release around 2-4 per year.

When was Ozone 11 released and any thoughts when Ozone 12 comes out...?
I'm planning to upgrade from 9 advanced to 11 advanced due to good BF prices...

The new Clarity and Upward Compression are quite good. I usually recommend skipping iZotope updates but this one was better than most.

Is this a good deal on UAD plugs?

I noticed a few weeks ago UAD had some seemingly well-priced bundles, not sure if those are back on or if they were a good deal, it seems so, but I believe it was older versions of things.

UAFX on reverb along with other UAD hardware is on sale on Reverb on b-stock. 230 for a UA Golden is a steal.

Seems good. Worth the money for 224, Waterfall, and Brigade. The rest is throwaway.

I waited too long, it’s off the GC site. I did see two of the other three I mentioned are still on sale. I think these came about when they started the free Leveller giveaway. I did read some people had hassles running that program without having the UA launch app gumming up the works and having to find workarounds.

There was a whole suite on sale as well, but it was more than I was looking to spend, but might be of interest to others. I don’t think UA usually slashes prices this much.

Wondering how worth it these are for me. I do plan on purchasing Logic.
