I won't name a company, but I'm trying to build kind of a replica at the Moment. I'm short on money and I have to admit, that there is some cool stuff out there I'd like to use and in this specific case I tell myself all the time: You will get there, everything you need is in MXXX and after 1/2 hour of frickling I am quite satisfied with the first step...
It (who) could remain a secret, I'd just like to know, if Melda runs at some developers in background...
Be honest, are there secretly developers (other than united audio), that work with MXXX as basis and then create skins?

I was too lazy, to think about other dynamic solutions (moving the bands of the crossover?) for the dynamic EQ part. It's just a prove of concept.... Nice to have is that per band analog/nonlinear/smoothness control in this solution. It is not elegant in any way as you have to dial in lots of values (could be solved with a good GUI)... but i think it comes close to the original Master of Sculpture 
Anyway, as always with melda it goes far beyond its role model in possibilities. Imagine what could be inserted in the crossover(MS/Transient/Tone)bands...

Uff. Crazy. Michelangelo and Unisum are so close to some ideas, which I had 15 Years ago on the creamware/scope platform.
Just realized. In unisum all that Attack/Release/Threshold modulation makes the sound alive and Michelangelo seems to use broad filters (6db) for creating smooth curves. Individual band saturation was in one of my devices back then, I loved to play with the 6d filtes even for MUBACO, my old multiband compressor (first version) then later I made experiments with split band analysis in NUBANUCO for Auto release-times... and MOVEQ+ was able to use all kinds of dynamic manipulation and MS in a dynamic EQ...
Still try to decide, if i buy them, because of course they're done very well!
