Can anyone let me know if they’ve added polyphonic aftertouch? I see it wasn’t a part of the last release, but I’m wondering with all the new synths and controllers that use it, maybe they added it.

Sometimes I wonder what the plugin world would be like if all the development hours spent on making things compatible for a constantly changing Apple architecture went to just developing software.
Well, you could also ask yourself how many kilotons of waste would have been saved if apple adopted earlier the USC type C for their iPhones... or the confort for people if they adopted the standard of communications (mastered since 20 years) for communication between iMessage and Whatsapp.
Doing good isn't really the priority clearly :-).

But Apple Silicon is NOT part of the bad thing they did. First, as an ex-Laptop PC user, it is a far far superior technology for laptops, second they handled the transition quite well, in a day to day basis and since 3 years I moved, I have 0 issues.

Finally, Microsoft is also starting to invest and showing sign of willingness to try again a move to ARM/RISC architecture (they did attempt 10 year ago). So basically, the problem of compatibility you are mentioning will also come to windows soon.... (along with a hopefully a new range of super CPU that will help me transition back to PC).

I'd forgotten that Plugin Boutique do a rent to own, £11.50pm for 12 months. No T&Cs there I can see, but for those who are missing a demo presumably you can just rent for one month from them (worth checking the terms first of course).

No, I can confirm they didn't.
Not a deal breaker for me but if it is for you ... (M2 pro).
This is the ONLY plug in out of literally dozens of synths I have that does this. It is really annoying as hell. I want to upgrade but I think I'll sit this one out.

The last Mac computer I owned was a G5, though I have an MacBook Air that I set up as a Chromebook for my daughter during Covid home school times. I don’t remember it going very well. I remember developers like Native Instruments, which I use a lot, didn’t have Apple Intel versions for a really long time. There was a looping plugin called Möbius that I wanted to use that was only for Windows, so that was that. (Years later they did release a Mac version) I have no use for a laptop, so I don’t care. I just want a machine that does what I want it to do with as little fuss and expense as possible. For me, that’s a machine running Windows.

Need help! Starting to get annoyed as I can't access and of the many patches I made from Avenger 1 in Avenger 2. The folder seems to have disappeared. Is anyone else having this problem as I am hoping I can retrieve hours of work.

juansep wrote: Fri Nov 24, 2023 9:22 pm Is it possible to round-robin/random midi notes to different oscillators/samples? Say for example I have osc 1 with a saw wave and osc 2 with a sample and I play a chord, some notes will play the saw wave and some the sample. Would like to know if there is a way. Thanks!
yes, you could do that via modmatrix... random alternating source to volume of each of the oscs
I'm trying to do it as you say, using an alternate source to the OSC value, but if I play a chord, the oscs are outputting sound or muted, not sure if I'm doing it the right way. What I want is to load a couple of samples to different oscs and for them to be assigned randomly notes of the chord I'm playing, not sure if this is possible at the moment.

Did you use a custom location in avenger 1? Avenger 2 seems to default to a specific location. I had to change it to see my avenger 1 stuff.

Hi there!

I want to report the FFT filter in the spectral mode not working as expected. The FFT filtering via the editor doesn't follow the pitch of the oscillator voice, but remains a static EQ. This can give some interesting effects, so it might be cool to keep it as an option, but in general it would be much more useful if it followed the pitch, like it does in other oscillator modes. Maybe it also needs some option to adjust the base frequency for the sample material to have the desired harmonics in the right place... if it doesn't have that option I guess it's good that it ignores the pitch settings in the oscillator, but if possible it should still be able to follow the midi pitch.

Besides that it seems to run fine in FL 21, Win 10 so far.

Spectral mode is pretty great without using the FFT editor, but could be much cooler if that could be made to work like in basic oscillator modes. Right now it seems to always be tuned to an F.

Go into your account on vps-avenger.com, click on your avenger license, and the upgrade path is in there. Took me a bit to find it too
