I get tempted by the UA collection for $49, but nothing stands out because I have other developers versions of all the devices in the collection really. Yes, if you own a studio UA are fantastic, but I find the big name plugins aren't really any better than the others, with a few exceptions.

I'm going to pre-order Live 12, so that gets in the way of the sale on Sononym, since it's very possible that Live's AI browser could be my default browser now even when using the MPC or Digital Performer. I'll probably bite on it though, since at $49 it's less than dinner for two where I live.

Tnx for posting the UAD deal. Really, that's the right price for me to evaluate UAD for myself. In particular, I like pultecs and the LA2A, so it's a good choice. Also, since I'm really trying to replace Waves stuff with iLok as much as possible, that might be worth a go.

Yeah I'm probably going to bite on that, $49 for 11 plugins, and I'm betting the synth is low CPU, not sure? The thing is I own almost all IK T-Rex, a ton of PSP, Nomad Factory, iZotope Suite, NI Komplete, DMG, Fabfilter, Eventide etc. etc. I have plenty of pultecs emus and honestly I really like the Nomad one, it's pretty much the diamond in the rough with them. I can't resist essentially $5 a pop though.

My powder is still dry. I'm enjoying my spring reverb. It needs a really good trem, though.
If I hadn't spent a fortune on dental crowns, I might go for Sonuscore Orchestra Complete, but that ain't gonna happen.

I'm filtering heavy on copy protection these days. Any kind of C/R that I don't view as essential is out, full stop. It's such a concern anymore that I won't even get free software that is from vendors I don't view as essential. I took the free LA-2A activation with my UAD bundle over Dawesome LOVE just because I didn't want to log in and activate the thing.

The ones that kill my interest are the ones that REQUIRE you to be online. Roli does this with Equator, great plugin, but I work sometimes in bad internet connection locations and phone home plugins are not tolerable. I own a few applications that are more studio oriented that do this, but a synth plugin IMO should work remotely.

I expected to be broke by now.. and all I bought was the DAWesome Love plugin. Wanted it, was on sale, got it.

Of course I already own Abyss, Kult, Novum, and Vital sooooo.. between that and all my Kontakt libraries, I don't feel like any reasonable base isn't covered.

Kind of a meh Black Friday.. oh well. Saves me money for pizza and beer!!

I'm using the iLok cloud for all my VSL, the alternative being the USB key. 126 activations.

I'm online constantly, it's not any problem where I live currently (the DPH wifi connection is perfectly solid), if that changes I'll buy the dongle. I finally had to buy a powered hub, so that can work. Also I have a few iLok licenses that can't go cloud, tied to this machine which is one method I _don't_ like.
I didn't realize that with Equator, guess I was always connected when I used it.

on topic, I bought one thing kind of impulsively, called Love. by Dawesome. "Granular/Shimmer Multi FX". The demo video was just fantastic, 30 bucks BF price, OK then

Yeah, I turned it down, even though it's right up my alley. It's not fully online, of course, I'm just so over having dozens of things to authorize for C/R and didn't want one more. I'm also not on board with fully online things, although, I would say that iLok cloud where I have the choice to move it onto a dongle is fine. The UAD install was annoying enough that I'm probably done with them. Their stuff is on my USB dongle, and installed on the one computer that I mix on. I don't like authorizing third parties to manipulate my iLok account.

I didn't see anything I wanted at PB that was less than I paid for Love. I looked later, having that info, as I wouldn't mind having the LA-2A compressor which is free with any real purchase. but I got a headache browsing the site.

Something unexpected is that Diva went to the top of my list this year, without having been on it a few days ago, because of the Oxide preset bank by The Unfinished on U-He's site, combined with Matt B. also running a sale on his own site, from which I bought three more preset banks for Diva.

I'll probably also repurchase Bazille because I like the otherworldly submarine sounds it makes.

Black Friday is here, I haven't yet broken a sweat! What am I missing?
