Sorry, I don't think so. I'm still seeing everything at normal prices on their dealer page, with no sales scheduled there.
Thanks Uncle E, I figured you probably would have listed it by then, but I was holding out as I wanted to grab it through you guys instead. I was able to get it elsewhere this time around though at least.

God Particle is available for $79 ($119 regular) right now.

Has anyone used either of these plugins? They seem to be hot in the mastering world and I am seeing them in quite a few videos these days. Both sound great to me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I use God Particle. For me it works some of the time in a pleasing way. I use it to give transients a finishing sheen and tweek the body of a track. I use it mostly on busses or tracks with a lot of transients. I am not using GP in it's intended way however. You'll have to try the demo to see if it resonates with the spectrals of your brain.
Thanks for your input. I did demo it briefly and found that it adds a nice sparkle to the tracks. $79 is not too bad a price, but in the grand scheme of things and the amount of use it may get, I am not sure if I should buy it.
If it helps any, as it seems we might be along the same path... I'm skipping God Particle because I like my mixing setting now, while simultaneously still learning and seeing other workflows. Basically, I know I'm not ready for an all-in-1 quick bus settings plugin, despite closely following many of Jaycen Joshua's mixing videos.

Also, if I remember right, I don't believe this is the first time it's been discounted to $79 so there's more sale cycles coming without needing to wait another year.

I could be wrong, but I thought I checked this when I first stumbled on the plugin.

Maybe a dumb question, but anybody else got problem with buying update to NI Komplete? I own version 11 and update option is grayed out.
edit: nevermind, loging out and in again solved the problem.

Yeah, I think there is no need to hurry. It doesn't seem to be an essential plugin at the moment. Maybe in the future the price will be tempting enough (lower than $79) as well.

Master Plan is really tempting for me right now, but I will probably skip it too.

Yup, that's the one I was waiting/hoping/dreading for the past few days.

So much for the "Plan A" spreadsheet.

Toontrack really thinks highly of their drum softwares. They didn't put them on sale at all. Instead they bundled an addon expansion and called it a sale.

Post

Maybe Toontrack does a Christmas sale (just speculating)?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

If it is anything like this Black Friday sale, I'm going to consider it piddly.

I noticed their prices have gone up over the last couple years or so. They used to have pretty decent times where you could get their stuff fairly cheap.

Toontrack does have some older libraries on sale right now for like $29. Not terrible.
