I’m sort of in the same boat. I may pick up a Neural DSP plugin… not sure what one, but I’m already talking myself out of that because I’ve got Amplitube and Tonex Max. I was hoping Strymon stuff went on sale, but no dice. I also want to pick up a couple of Synthesizer V voices and the editor, but also no sale. Maybe Graindad? Other than some stupidly overpriced hardware which wasn't really on a Black Friday sale, that's it. Surely there's something really hot? NI, ugh, yeah, there's a few things in Komplete 14 standard, but not Guitar Rig 7, I'll wait for 15. Arturia's synth collection, I'm still on 6, I haven't seen anything in the last three updates that excite me.

I guess it happens when you have as much amazing stuff as I do, including hardware. Even the 3rd Wave, which I’ve had a crush on since it was released, just seems like another somewhat different flavor of a bunch of different things I already have.
What I really need to do is the very unsexy room treatment, which I didn’t bother doing when I moved because it’s a townhouse and I can’t really play very loud most days anyway. But now I’m doing voiceover work and I’ve been running a mic into a closet, which is awkward and generally a pain in the ass.
Many developers seem to have realized that it's better to sell more for less money than less for a lot of money...
