Acoustica has a really good noise detection & removal algo..

The only thing I miss is setting loop points, but there's a new version out which I haven't upgraded to yet (my DAW isn't online atm) which may have fixed that..

If it wasn't for WaveLab, I think Audacity is the next best thing, and... IT'S FREE!

Acoustica or Goldwave I think are the main contenders
Go with Goldwave
Loads of features and has been around for ages as well.

I bought my brother Magix Music Maker for xmas...damn that thing is getting a nice feature set, including mastering effects and vocal tuning. Audio Studio (which MM is based on) now has batch processing and freeze tracks also.CreepJoint wrote:Magix Audio Studio.

Another vote for Acoustica. Version 3.2 seems to deal with some of the stability-issues and adds region-markers.
