Hello, is anyone able to install the latest version of Current (v1.1.1) within the DAW? I have tried multiple times to do that in Bitwig as the "download and install the latest version message.." pops up when I open the synth but I´m not able to install it.
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi thanks for the free hybrid filter. Can I ask if there are different newsletters etc we have to sign up too as I did not receive an email about this and am yearly rto current owner.Minimal Audio wrote: Sun Nov 26, 2023 5:20 amThe code is HYBRIDFILTER23 Jac -- you can add it to your cart here: https://www.minimal.audio/products/hybrid-filter & use the code in your cart. The website will detect if you have Current active and apply the promotion if it's applicable to your account.Jac459 wrote: Sun Nov 26, 2023 5:12 am Where is the offer? Can you send the link? I want able to find. I have current perpetual so I am interested.
Just ask as I would have missed this if not seen on here and I appear to get all the sales emails from yourselves. Checked spam and it did not end up there either so assume my details are missing from a list somewhere.

Bitwig must be closed when updating a VST.enCiphered wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 10:29 am Hello, is anyone able to install the latest version of Current (v1.1.1) within the DAW? If I close Bitwig then I will close the Current update as well..kinkajou wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 1:12 pmBitwig must be closed when updating a VST.enCiphered wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 10:29 am Hello, is anyone able to install the latest version of Current (v1.1.1) within the DAW? There is no way to install the update during the DAW session. So what I mean is, that I don´t see the point of the message popping up in Current that I can download and install the update. It starts updating when I choose to and then another message pops up that Bitwig must be closed. This doesn´t make sense.
The only way to install the update is to download it from the website and install it outside of your DAW

In cubendo, i get the notification, i say go ahead and at some point the installer takes center stage, so then I close cubendo and direct the installer.

Similar in Ableton. Start the current update and then close ableton and it updated OK.

Unfortunately my display error is not fixed.
On macos, when the current screen is resized to be bigger, eachtime I close and reopen, the upper part of the synth is not visible. I need to press the fullscreen button to have it fixed...

Asked here before but didn't receive an answer---if we buy Rift and then do the annual subscription for Current, will owning Rift give us a discount on buying the perpetual license for Current one year later, and if so of how much?

Generally there are discounts for owning Minimal's other products.Ou_Tis wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 6:54 pm Asked here before but didn't receive an answer---if we buy Rift and then do the annual subscription for Current, will owning Rift give us a discount on buying the perpetual license for Current one year later, and if so of how much?

Why would it not cost more when you own it forever instead of for a year? Plus you get a bunch of store credit after the year, so you could just buy the perpetual license later using store credit. It's not difficult or confusing and it's not "unfair".ninjadune wrote: Tue Nov 28, 2023 1:29 pm I just want to pay for what I want and own it but it actually costs more than a year subscription. This unfairness makes people confused.
Please make things simple.
The question mark here is the pricing for packs for perpetual users, which I'm hoping is not a bait-and-switch cash grab with super high prices.

Many times when I'm choosing a synth sound - I like to loop a section in Reaper, and play different presets etc to find something that fits.
I've crashed Reaper a few times already, doing this with Current.
Maybe it will get more stable - it must have something to do with scrolling presets while looping in Reaper.
In the meantime, I'll need to keep saving frequently - and stopping (and restarting) Reaper every couple of minutes.
