I have the CM version of Miracle Beats and for some reason when ever I bring up the GUI in Tracktion to edit it Tracktions CPU usage jumps to 99% and everything grinds to a halt until I close th GUI. It happens on both of my PCs, which are both running XP Pro.

Not sure if this will help but I had exactly the same problem with the *FULL* version, not sure about the CM version although it seemed OK during my demo usage of it.Kiwiboyus wrote:I have the CM version of Miracle Beats and for some reason when ever I bring up the GUI in Tracktion to edit it Tracktions CPU usage jumps to 99% and everything grinds to a halt until I close th GUI. I emailed POWERFX before I started having your problems about another issue which may solve your problem...maybe.
Miracle beats ships with 2 versions a *VST FX* and a *VSTi* version (identical in functionality as far as I can tell).I asked Bil at PowerFX and he said the FX version was for Live 3.Of course that does not stop you using it in Tracktion, but my guess is you may have to buy the full version to get the FX version.
Worth it if you ask me, but the problem needs to be looked at in an update for Miracle beats I think.
I think (correct me if I am wrong) that the CM version is only a VSTi version. If it has an FX version try that instead.
Why?
I use the VST FX version as I kept having the same problems as you, not always, but from time to time, too often anyway. The FX version works in exactly the same way as the VSTi version but somehow bypasses the CPU issue
I hope that helps...
