All of that makes sense. Honestly, when and if I decide to start recording my guitar on a regular basis with Waveform, I will clearly have to dive into this. It sounds like the +2 db added to my final recorded guitar-track isn't going to foul up my sound, which would obviously defeat the purpose of me posting clips for the Fractal forum members to diagnose why I am not totally happy with any of the preset sounds. They are all fine, and perfectly serviceable, and if this is the best I can get from the unit, I will call it a day and accept that most people listening to me playing are quite simply not going to realize that my Lukather, Moore, Garcia, Gilmore, Knophler tunes are not absolutely flawless with regard to all those different amp sounds and effect stacks at the touch of a button.

It seems like an acceptable trade-off, given that I will no longer have to drag around my Fender Twin with the 2 JBL E120's in them. It also means, I don't also have to carry a Mesa Boogie, Marshal stack, Soldano, and about a dozen other amps in my back pocket when playing out. Oh well, I can accept that, if it's the price of admission for modeling.

Thanks again for all your help, Peter!
