Ok as a new user to tracktion
if i import an audio drum loop that is say 4 or 5 bars in length
1. how do i lengthen it without it changing
2. How do u join loops accurately in the track window
joining waves accurately

If I understand your questions correctly then:
1. Select the audio clip you want to lengthen (the correct term is "stretch"), select "time-stretch" in the stretch menu (bottom right of the screen) and then drag the clip to the desired length while holding the ALT key in your keyboard.
2. You cannot join loops together, it is considered "destructive" wave editing and tracktion doesn't support it yet.

* Insert a new track (ctrl+T)
* Shift+drag the loops to the new track
* Select the track and choose render track> to project directory.
* Select "replace" in the dialog.
* Shift+drag the clip back to the original track and trim it.
