It seems the setting to enable/disable the custom GUI has gone missing in MTurboReverb version 16.10.
Is this intentional? I like add a custom button to the easy screen which isn't possible with the custom GUI as far as I know.

It shows in settings only when the currently loaded device has a custom GUI. Try loading a device from the device browser on the left then look in settings again.

As far as I understood, there is a "device" which is their factory supplied thing, which usually has a fancy frontplate and knobs and that. You see the Multiparameters of those, and you can change thinks like "value mode" as long as you don´t disturb the order of Multiparameters, but you cannot save it as "device", but rather as your DAW´s preset. I am not sure what their preset saving does with the GUI.
You can however strip their fancy GUI at any time by calling MENU>DETACH DEVICE.
There is *nothing* to be gained by a fancy GUI anyways.
Note however, that most of their devices, at least belonging to a certain group like compressors, have a similar layout.
Maintaining this layout aids the creation of a mind map, so that you can reach for a certain knob without even looking at the front plate. I think this is a genius approach from Melda.
