Hey Guy's. I'm new to this forum. I am really a big fan of melda and all their plugins and I look forward to every plugin by melda because I know melda plugins are as feature packed as you can get.
But it is sad that I cannot really find a audio repair plugin that's Intuitive and efficient within the melda ecosystem.
I know that mspectral dynamics can help remove noise but I would really like to have a plugin by melda that can help do so much more.
1 that's better than izotope RX . A plugin that I can edit the spectrum to remove issues or use different modules like dehum , declick ,denoise, dehiss, desibilance ,deplosive and so forth and maybe even more features.
If there was ever a plugin developer that could create something that is as powerful I know that melda is more than capable of it and I know that if it's created by melda every producer wouldn't mind buying it since they would have lifetime free updates.
Please do consider creating such a plugin. I really believe that It's the number 1 thing that's missing from the melda ecosystem.

Well, repair is planned, but you know, it's a big field, which is not that simple and our devtime is very limited, but hopefully one day.

Thank you. I really look forward to it. Is there any way where I could find out about which plugins are upcoming or soon to be released, it's always exciting to look forward to something new from melda

I find that keeping an eye on this forum is the best (only) way to get news and hints about what is on the horizon.
So just stay tuned!

The typical Melda experience: "Hey Vojtech, I have feature request X". Voijtech: "Hmmm, I don't know, probably not, sorry". Four weeks later: a new Melda plugin with feature X turned up to 11 plus heaps more
Keep up the great work, Voijtech, you rock

I'm still waiting a proper De-esser though :ppaterpeter wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 11:32 am The typical Melda experience: "Hey Vojtech, I have feature request X". I tried everythings, from Melda and other companies too. The one i like the most is the old Pro-Ds from FF.
I'm still experimenting with MSD using the advanced tab, but i'd like something more effective and i'd say more intelligent to tame S only not everything that reach the treashold of certain frequencies

I get you, I'm sure Melda can easily pull off such a de-esser since the framework is already there, They just need to upgrade the de-esser in Msprectraldynamics and tweak the resonance algorithm from MautoDynamicEq to display frequencies with sibilance issues and create a better visual display for us to see exactly which frequencies are a problem, I'm sure they can tweak the same algorithm to target other frequencies to fix some of the other issues that I mentioned above too.

A simple de-clicker / de-plopper would already be awesome. Heck even if it just interpolates between the samples it would be a nice addition to the suite.

I think this woudn't bring anything more.SashDBN wrote: Sun Dec 10, 2023 1:44 pm I get you, I'm sure Melda can easily pull off such a de-esser since the framework is already there, They just need to upgrade the de-esser in Msprectraldynamics and tweak the resonance algorithm from MautoDynamicEq to display frequencies with sibilance issues and create a better visual display for us to see exactly which frequencies are a problem, I'm sure they can tweak the same algorithm to target other frequencies to fix some of the other issues that I mentioned above too.
The way to bring out a better plugin for the purpose is to write something new that "understand" the differences between S and T and everything else. So the plugin can compress just them instead everything else as you would do with a mbcompressor, msd or madeq that are triggered by everything.
I also think most of the time to tame S in the more natural way, is not just about to tame higher frequencies, cause if you hit hard, the S will sound weird, but just to turn the S all the way down in volume, maybe a slope option would be nice, since every recording is different.
I think a plugin like this will make the difference
