Moog Mariana VST/AU/iOS Bass Synth

Moog dropped iLok from the effect plugins in an update earlier this year. You no longer need it.

imho the synth was dev by Team Air and not by previous MOOG employees due to the acquisition of the society.

Peter Kirn over at CDM says it was done by the same team who did the rest of the Moog apps, led by Geert Bevin.

That’s a relief - I would not buy anything from Air now

Nope, you can’t download and use this iOS app on macOS anymore.
Obviously change of ownership of moog is the cause.
Will skip this one on both iOS and macOS…
Btw; It literally takes 1 mouse click to authorise iOS app for macOS
Makes me wonder why there are so many devs reluctant to push that button even when they’re not planning to release for macOS…

Just a little thought. The fx are ILOK protected and was developed by MOOG. I bought this little mess since is inexpensive and it has a serial number protection.

Do they allow license transfers for this? Their support page still says: "Can I transfer my Moogerfooger plug-in license?
You can transfer your license using iLok’s License Manager software. Visit https://www.ilok.com/ for more information."

I’m waiting to see the reviews from italian people to witness how many of them will pronounce the name with a double N at least once (italian language has both variants for that name, I think the version with two N is more common for females - for males, I always heard only “Mariano” - but I could be wrong).

Actually, I have to pay attention and double check everytime I write a post or I talk about this synth!

Never said they were special, just said I dont complain about CPU anymore because my M1 doesnt give me those kinds of problems
