Staggering, isn't it?
I've always taken KVR with a pinch of salt, but this thread has really changed the way I view it as a whole. It's surely a minority, but there's clearly a sizeable number of members who simply want to moan and publicly denigrate, yet refuse seemingly on a point of principle to do anything that will actually help to make their lives better. They appear to value the anonymous camaraderie of being marginalised than working towards any kind of progress.
It's rather tragic really.

I did not know.medienhexer wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 8:28 amSo far, we have only seen issues on Apple M1-3 CPUs. No asus tools on those systems. And by now, other JUCE based plugins like UVI don‘t show the issue anymore.magicmusic wrote: Wed Dec 06, 2023 3:27 pm is it posible in V2 to make slice play from a sample ?
for those people who have CPU spike problems. I have such problems on other synths that are juce lib based and i solve this by deinstall the asus cpu tweak tools asus install .maybe thats problem on avenger too

Let’s get this straight.msvs wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 8:44 am Do I get it right, you say you are "too busy" ... you have the time reading and complaining here, but you dont have the same time amount, writing this to support and seeking for real help? I am beyond speechless right now.
1. You were complaining that people are obsessed about CPU spikes. I simply corrected you as it isn’t just CPU spikes, the plugin is useless as it is. No complaints from my side as it was simply a correction on what you said.
2. I was simply around shopping asking if Avenger 2 is a safe upgrade (which it clearly isn’t)
3. You are selling a product for M1/M2/M3 Mac, so it is your responsibility that it works, including all the testing work that needs to be done. This is not my responsibility.
4. I only spend a couple of minutes of my time here due to a Black Friday deal, a simple a yes or no decision if I was to give you $100 to upgrade to Avenger 2. You and your company are not important to me at all. I don’t even care if this plugin works as I don’t even use it.
What you are asking me is to be a developer together with Rene. And we fix your product. And then in the end, I have to give you money for the Avenger 2 upgrade? That is not how the real world works.
My role is a customer is very simple. I give you money for the Avenger 2 upgrade or I don’t. And that is where it ends and I go on with my life.

For some reason the 2.0.5 update seem to have solved the erratic CPU spikes that I have had using Avenger on my MacBook Pro M1 Max 32GB system. At least I can no longer recreate these in Logic, Cubase or Bitwig.
So for people who have these erratic CPU spikes, see if 2.0.5 fixes these for you.

Indeed, I just continue on with my life as business as usual and simply don’t give you money for the upgrade?msvs wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 2:15 pm let's get this straight:

Why expect me to fix your product together with Rene and then give you money for the work I did together with Rene when it finally works?
Makes no sense at all.

Yeahhh Boooy... same here... a lot Better!! I dont have these bad spikes with just the Init Preset anymore!! sometimes a minimal one... but no more these bad drop-outs in Ableton! before this update i couldnt use 3 instances without drop-outs... now i have 26 on 256samples.. with minimal spikes.... but no drop-outs!
