Anyone noticing the dropping of prices recently in hardware? Not counting Black Friday, I think the trend is on the downward, maybe to competition or maybe to current economics.

I've been buying Cherry Audio synths, mostly in Humble Bundles as well as upgrading to Voltage Modular Core. I like their stuff. Nice big interfaces as my eyesight is stuffed!
Also Karanyi keyboards. A really cool company. I made a mistake in claiming a discount and they contacted me out of the blue about it! Great guy who did this. Very modern retro styles if you get what I mean.

is the cute little Neumann TLM 102

Found one boxed for under £300. Even if I don’t get on with it I can probably make a profit selling it later.

After the MIDI interface packing up I went to play some guitar and I couldn’t hear anything so I had a mild panic that now my Focusrite Scarlett had broken, but thankfully it was just a shot guitar lead, still that lead is another thing that’s worked fine for years. Bad ju ju.

nice!

competition is a strong word for it, but yes.
first, last, most, cheapest, most expensive and of course the elusive "didn't buy anything" all get special mention in the end of year speeches.
