Hello everybody,
I'm working on the pattern library for the DK+
sequencer,
the styles I chose so far are the ones in the list below,
each .dk+ seq files holds 24 patterns,
my plan is to provide 8 to 12 variations
for each style, and to leave the other 12 memories empty
for the user (user can delete the factory patterns too and have 24
memories also)
so the whole library will be at least 400 patterns !!!
(a pattern in DK+ can be long up to 128 steps, step duration ranges from 32nd to 16th,
special steps may have higher resolution: flams and double)
so far about 100 patterns are ready,
preference for style?
would you like to have all patterns in the DK+ package
or to buy only the ones you are interested in?

triplets in blues and jazz need swing, right? One of my problems with step sequencers is that it's often hard to work with triplets, which is a prerequisite for many blues and jazz styles...
Did you create good support for triplets already?
so far I found easy to use the Swing control
to achieve the right feel for those triplets
having quantized 12/8 doesn't lead to a good blues IMHO

that should get you started. also, some sum 41 type drums would be nice.
