Love Electro-Harmonix, I bet it would be cool.

I was thinking that an EHX Bass Clone would make a great chorus for a synth; it's another one of the Clone Theory descendants, but it adds a crossover which could be super useful.

I just found something I've been looking for all year. Not in the form factor I'd hoped to find but it works. I have been looking for a Kurzweil K2500R with KDFX fully expanded but I found a K2500x AES on eBay and just purchased it. I didn't really need a 88 key keyboard but I couldn't pass it up.

I frequently use a Clone Theory pedal on synths. It sounds a little dark but very lush. I've used it on electric bass, Prophet 6 and lots of other things. EHX pedals are awesome!

Yeah it's my favorite line of Chorus pedals. I loved my Bass Clone for bass guitar, very much a Peter Hook style chorus. An original Clone Theory would be a cool buy. The current one is under $100 too.

Time for a new PC soon ... been looking at some pre-built desktop audio machines by SCAN. Not quite as pricey as I expected. :)

Ordered that Mk3 Mikrophonie, and a Tesseract Selam. Also swapped Pi4 boards into my Nebula V2s.

EMG 57/66 set. A Seymour Duncan SH-6, strings a rig pack for the kemper. That was all for me. I think.

How do you like it? Do they sound more like PAF’s than other EMG’s?

Yikes. This was a sobering watch, good for GAS relief if you need it

The original version is pretty amazing. I’m planning to get one as soon as used prices drop below $300.

Well, seems these aren’t just vapourware

Andertons has them on pre-order for £89, but estimate at least a 3 month wait so I’ll keep my powder dry

Yeah, Sweetwater has had them on preorder for a bit now. Frankly, I can't see not getting at least one. You can't buy a joystick module for much less than what they're selling these for. I'm not buying that many new modules these days, but I'm stilling going to keep biting on most of what Behringer releases.

Purchases this year:
- Neve R6
- Singular tubedrve
- Elysia xfilter 500
I'm buying an xpressor 500 next month to fill up the rack.

Post

xpressor 500 is one of my favorite compressors and goes really well with the xfilter 500. It's a great clean compressor but driving it with a preamp that has lots of gain takes it into heavier territory. The Gain Reduction Limit is something I don't have in other compressors and allows me to do some really heavy compression without too much pumping.

January Sale already started at Andertons. Trigon 6 now down to £2,249 Oof.
