On my mac (mbp m1max, sonoma), both in standalone and vst3 in Cubendo it starts at 1.
In Cycle, Daw, Keys and Latch mode.

To me the GUI looks so sharp I had assumed it was vector-based, rather than bitmaps. (All GForce GUIs look like that to me.) Even when I stretch it out to fill my 27" screen, it still looks crisp and clear.

Free (for now) preset pack from Gforce:

it crashes for me immediately on Mac, both the standalone and also the vst2/3/au version (in Reaper), did anyone experience such an issue?

Post

Well,... it's an emulation of the 1975 Axxe with some add-ons and seems to do it well enough - actually does the job nicely and the presets certainly show it off.
I use to like the KikAxxe by Way Out Ware as it sounded nice and beefy (not sure what happened to it) and this sounds
just as full with that sought after vintage character.
I haven't had any issues on my Mac in Logic Pro.
Great little starter synth for someone looking for a 70's emulation.

Sorry, but I do not seem to get the same sounds from Oddity 3 whatever I tried.

Are just the presets so much better here (using the builtin seq) or there is no way to get the same sounds because of internal differences?

Can someone clarify by experience?

^^^ I love the sound! The sequencer is great.. Bought!

tbh, at that intro price, it's a no-brainer purchase.

Same old Gforce (both good and bad).

Good:
• Great-sounding plugins (most insta-buys for existing Gforce customers)/
• Great-looking/scalable GUIs (when not trying to ape Arturia too hard, like the dreaded SEM v1.6 update, subsequently corrected in v1.6.1 mere weeks later).
• Great modern preset organisation/browsing system (in their most recent updated products at least).
• Great value. Especially when on sale. Which they perhaps are a little too often these days. And I feel as though Gforce wouldn't need nearly as many sales, if they corrected some of the following 'trial/demo' issues...

Bad (trial/demo limitations):
• Illogical alpha patch designation and limitations (not showcasing full potential to new Gforce virgins - less of an issue to existing customers, but still!)
• Very stingy time restrictions to trial plugins. Puts unnecessary pressure on potential customers, instead of allowing people to trial products at a more leisurely pace / other life-commitments, etc.)
AXXESS Demo is not limited to Alpha nor 4h (as other instruments). AXXESS demo gives access to all 350+ patches and runs for 7 days. :-)

7 days is plenty. If you know you are going to flit in and out, that's your problem. If you are serious about a possible purchase, you will do whatever is required

I'm matching settings and finding them to be almost identical with the biggest differences in the ADSR envelope.
