Is MTurboComp´s "DBX 160" maybe a DBX 165?

Greetings and Merry Christmas.
I looked into the DBMeld 160 model and I am truly astounded. There is no trace of a hard knee compresser, which the ´160 is. All knee controls are up at nearly 100%.

This would speak for a DBX 165.

See what Mike Senior says in Classic Compressors-Choosing The Right Compressor For The Job
Whereas the original Dbx 160 was a hard-knee device, the later
165 retained the same basic design while adding in an 'Over Easy' soft-knee compression curve(...)
Has anyone noticed this?
This model has a very confusing attack and release scheme.

The Dbx stuff is really having a moment. Softube VCA, Acustica Grey, now this.

IIRC, the DBMeld 160 is described by the developer as the result of having analyzed the classic dbx compressors, deciding they could do it better from scratch and then building a workalike.

So, not surprising that it doesn't toe the line as closely as some of the other MTurboComp models.

Ah, thanks!
