audio stretch doesn't seem to work

i'm using ver. 12 on a pc and i highlight the track, then hit aly key and try to stretch the ends but nothing happens. any ideas?

Check out the property "Stretch" on the audio clip tab. If it's set to "No Time Stretching" you have to chang its value.

Audio clips that are set to Auto-Tempo can't be stretched. Turn Auto-Tempo off and it should work.
