Brand new to Waveform. Is it possible to import an audio clip and then transpose it?
Thanks

Yes, several ways of doing that. For example select the midi clip and you'll see options in the 'properties panel' at bottom of screen (might need to click arrow bottom left to open up the properties panel if you are seeing the narrower transport/controls panel.)Pistache52 wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 10:37 pm Brand new to Waveform. Audio clip - yes, select the clip, and there is an adjustment if you have the "properties - Useful Menu" enabled; and you can change pitch by semitones, from -12 to +12 semitones.
You didn't say what was in the clip. Remember drums, vocals, guitar all get transposed - whatever is in that particular clip. Just tested, and a simple guitar part (no chords, but including some harmonics) became a bass solo.

Thank you. Does it matter what format audio clip is in? I am having trouble with an mp3 clip that doesn’t transpose up or down. It is drum line chords and bass

You should be able to repitch an mp3 file but better to use a lossless format like .wav file quality wise.

Check to make sure it's the correct clip that's highlighted when you do it. I had the same issue, until I realized I had 2 clips on top of each other, and I was adjusting the wrong one !
