If you own the Signature Bundle already, then you already have all of the plugins that are available native. Though you could gamble on a couple and hope you get lucky and they’re the next to get ported. But they will probably have them on sale for $39 each when that finally happens.

Even more worthy will be the unevitable bundle upgrade coming in 11 months which includes all new released native plugins of 2024.

The store won't let you buy anything that isn't native if you don't own an Apollo or other hardware accelerator

Anyone know if you can stack the subscriptions? They have 3 months for $.99 and a year for $99. If you buy both, does that give you 15 months?

I think the answer is no. From their FAQ:

Can I have more than one UAD Spark subscription for my account?
We currently only support one subscription per account.

I just tried to maximize my holiday sales deal. UAD pulled an unequitable process for their sign up coupons unfortunately. since I have similar non UAD plugins my motivation is directly tied to getting a good deal. since they screwed that up and I dont feel like I am getting a good deal, I passed. I also let them know. Weird... I've lived without UAD this long so its no struggle to carry on. I did get their 11 plugin bundle, thats enough for me.

Anyway... happy 2024.

Such a joy that the native versions need to authorize themselves all the time. Was wondering why a mix was sounding phasey all of sudden.. All Uadx plugin interfaces stayed blurred and said "not logged in". And unable to log in, even if UA website was working so the internet connection was ok.
Took a break and the login was working 15 minutes later.

Their server issues prevent you from using any of them. This would be a nice surprise if you were about to bounce some stems.. always check for blurry Uadx from now on.

I picked up their Essentials bundle a couple weeks ago and they gave me a $25 coupon, then they had another $25 gift code right at the end of the year. I didn't think they would let them stack on top of each other, but they did. So I got their Distressor comp and their Massive Passive EQ model for $49.

Definitely one of the best deals I've ever gotten on plugins; prior to this 2023 Black November/Friday/Holiday sales cycle I've never even looked twice at UAD plugs because their whole business model operated at a price level that was out of my reach. Even them going native wouldn't change that, it was only these crazy low prices that suddenly and totally unexpectedly granted me access to their stuff, and their reputation seems well earned based on what I'm hearing.

I would never even think of buying a $300 EQ plug, just out of the question. But getting it for $25, along with sale prices on a bunch of other high end plugs, I'm just freaking thrilled. I mean, have you all HEARD the Massive Passive plug? It sounds freaking AMAZING.

I thought I read that people were logging out of UA Connect entirely and even uninstalling it and their plugs were still working?

Because they still have a way to authorize their plugs offline, so if people are keeping their DAWs off the internets they can still use the plugs.

Might try uninstalling UA Connect and perhaps disconnecting your internet service (by which I mean literally unplugging it if it's not wireless) and see if you can use the plugs then.

Earlier, when UA Connect was more annoying (asking for admin permissions randomly during a session with Uadx plugin) - I tried disabling Connect from Windows startup. It worked for a while, no sight of Connect unnecessarily popping up. But then one day, all Uadx interfaces remained blurred, until you launched Connect so it could authorize again.

If there really is a offline way, it'd be great!

what mean luna extension when it come from a appolo only plugin ? that mean it is included in LUNA PRO if i don't use appolo hardware ?

what mean luna extension when it come from a appolo only plugin ? that mean it is included in LUNA PRO if i don't use appolo hardware ?

It looks from the demo I tried that even things like the Ampex extensions work in it despite not being native so I guess they have converted the extension bits that work in Luna but maybe not yet the whole plugin

I'm not sure it is worth having or not yet, I think the built in summing is nice but is it any better than the Mix Engine FX in Studio One? (which I am more familiar with)
