Hey Melda Team
Could you guy's create a plugin to complement MsoundFactor, A Plugin which could help people learn to practice chords so that they won't be limited in their creativity because they will know and will be able to play piano chords very easily?
it would be a simple plugin that can be made in a few days but can help a person improve beyond measure.
I will try and write out the instruction for the program in English but the team needs to translate it into code.
1.Write a code to recognise familiar piano chords when played on a midi keyboard.
2.Then create a practice mode, each Mode could be different scales. eg, C Scale ( C major, D minor, E minor, F major, G major, A minor, and B diminished.)
3. Then a person could press play and the scales will play in diatonic or random order and when a person correctly plays the same chord as the software it shows green , if wrong red.
4.At the end all the chords played right will be green and all the chords that were played wrong will be red.
5.A person can change the speed to practice slower or faster to make it easier or difficult.
6. This will help a person practice their chords and rhythm.
7.Also allow a person to create their own mode with random Chords and random Bpm.
8.Maybe there can be a flash mode where a chord will flash and u must play it in time, u can set to play it fast or slow , or a mode where you can see which chords u need to play in order.
it's a simple plugin that can help a lot. I haven't seen a plugin like this, I wish it existed to help me practice but haven't seen such a plugin, Melodics is the only company that makes similar plugins but doesn't have this specific feature
[Plugin Request] MChordTutor

Hi Thank you for responding.
After much research to find such companies even on forums I only found 1 company that is known to have created a plugin to teach people music which is Melodics and since there are no competition they opted to base their plugin on a subscription model only.
I heard Vojtech mention in an interview that he is reluctant to create an Artificial intelligent plugin that creates music for people because he doesn't want to discourage people from exploring their own creativity and uniqueness.
It's really difficult for someone to reach the fullness of their own creative ability if they are limited in opportunities and possibilities.
I feel Melda strives to give people as many opportunities and possibilities in every plugin that's why almost every plugin by Melda is more feature packed than almost every other plugin that's made by other developers.
Imagine if the music theory chord tutor plugin thats created by melda becomes a must and staple for every person that's just starting to get into sound designing or music composition.
Such people haven't even bought many other audio plugins some not any and if they are introduced to Melda from the very start of their careers what are the possibilities of them buying more Melda Plugins than any other audio plugin from another developer.
Melda has created almost every plugin that's wanted but it has to also focus on what's needed especially if it's rarely found else wear and especially when it comes to plugins that will really draw attention to Melda as a whole.
That is absolutely important because Melda is really lacking when it comes to marketing. If I knew about melda from the start I would have not bought many other plugins from other companies but it took me over a year to eventually come to understand the full potential of Melda's plugins.
If you guy's are willing to create this plugin I wouldn't mind helping you guys out in any way I can because I know that Melda isn't all about money but it does strive to create opportunities and possibilities for musicians and sound designers to explore their full potential through their plugins.

I agree that this one would make sense, but it's more like a dev time thing.
