sonible smart:EQ 4 released!

Seems like a good update, getting some weird bugs with the group/instance view, or maybe it's just confusing. It was pretty straight forward in eq3 and I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around the 'instances' and 'groups' and adding them, sometimes the other instances of eq4 show up, sometimes they don't, why do I have to create a new instance? what is the difference between an instance and a group? I AM CONFUSED

What DAW are you using? I can't use smart eq4 in FL Studio. The group view bugs out and is a total mess.

That was always a big downside of this plugin V1, did they add to this upgrade or had it before? I have an old version.
I watched the video of this guy on Youtube that has been posted here, he of course didn't show such an important feature, what did he actually show?
I didn't expect a lot anyway, when I saw the stupid thumbnail.
I generally wonder how could such a plugin know how I want something to sound like or is AI already able to read thoughts!?

This is what you will mainly hear about upgrade
auto gain
dynamic eq on any band of freq
switch linear phase to minimum
smooth IA curve
more track eq

But for me one highlight are the 60 seconds, gonna demo out if curiosity, but I do not think plugin can know what I would like to sound a mix or track.
Back in the day mixing engineers (Bruce Swedien, Al Schmitt etc) where known for their sound, for their creativity, for their little extra (character) they could add to mix. A plugin with AI will make everything sound very simular, that's why I doubt I would use something like this.
But if the mixing engineer called AI is a good one, it might work...

Currently also having issues in Bitwig, sometimes it's learning phase is stuck, especially with groups. Hope they'll fix soon, otherwise great update. Using it all over the place now in my mixes.

I also experienced the issue with getting stuck in learning phase using Bitwig.
Only affects the VST3 version, so using the VST2 as a workaround.

Also found that putting a lowcut filter in side mode still cuts the mids.

But agree. Great improvement over version 3 that I found myself newer using.
Have stuck with the Smart EQ Live until now as found that one the best sounding, but with the smooth function version 4 replaced them all.

When I "learn" a sound, it hangs in the learning part. It doesn't go further.
Sometimes it's working they way it should work.

I'm having the same happen. Seems to be about a 50/50 chance it'll work properly. Replacing the plugin instance has worked for me to unstick. I am using Bitwig 5.1
