Ouch! Luckily, I had a feeling that discoDSP is kind of iffy and never bit the bullet. Probably a good idea to spend money on devs that have a better track record.

"Iffy" is exactly how I've felt about them too. Seems like the flags went up quickly for me, but I've kept watching.
... Also feeling a bit relieved that I didn't buy into this company now.

Yes, it's 219 euros now. I really don't understand what's going on.

The higher the (somewhat) arbitrary retail price, the lower the $75 is proportionally. It’s a tried and true retail trick.

I think its so funny the person representing DiscoDSP wants to have a "positive, and constructive" thread, yet not only did they ignore user feedback to decrease the upgrade cost initially (yes I see they offer 30% off upgrade cost now), they raised the price of the synth. How not to conduct business 101. Mind boggling tbh.

In comparison, Minimal Audio caught heat with the original plan to make Current sub only......they listened to users, and created a generous multi tiered purchase option for Current. Users complained, company listened, company adjusted.

Strange... I still see the same 78,04 euro as my upgrade offer

And the main page still say:
"For other customers, the upgrade from Discovery or Discovery Pro versions 7, 6, or 5 is available at a special price of $74.99. Additionally, we're excited to share that the Linux build, featuring additional SSE assembly optimizations, will be ready in the coming weeks."

Pfff, there are like not a single thing that match. How can i ever let myself trust this company again.

You know, I just cannot justify spending even $30 for re-organized existing presets. The under-the-hood enhancements are inaudible. Nothing else has changed - it's the same synth as 7.9.

No way I'm paying $53 to support continued development and the promise of future enhancements.
