More stuff. Beyond that I have nothing specific...

I've been tempted to get one of those a few times. I like the idea of a multitimbral synth with a huge polyphony count, spread across 16 MIDI channels, to replace some of my VSTi plugins and lighten the load on my DAW and CPU. When you get around to trying it out, please let us know what you think of it! :)

Perhaps the most expensive would be the Waldorf Quantum. I've got a bunch of gear to sell. I live in a remote location so it's a pain to ship anything.
I'd have said the thing with the best reputation or cool factor. Quantum is a pretty serious piece of kit. Good luck with getting a good price and shipping it etc.
The Quantum is great... I just have too many hardware synths and they start to become unwieldy for me then. I'm keeping the stuff that is multi-timbral. More tracks with less space and complexity.

Hopefully affordable alternatives to Iridium/Quantum with multiple forms of synthesis including analog, will be around the corner. Elektron's Syntakt is almost perfect but lacks sampling and granular.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I would be stoked if Elektron added sampling (or even just sample playback/editing for layering) into Syntakt. It's already got the hard drive space, so it seems like it would certainly a possibility via a firmware update, but I doubt they'll do it because it could cut into Digitakt sales.

They might (and this is a stretch) add 8-bit or even 12-bit samples. They already added the SID chip to Rytm. I doubt they would challenge their own products though.

I've also created a template in Reaper that allows me to very quickly record everything and sync everything.

EDIT: Actually the above isn't entirely true. I ran out of audio inputs so only about half of my hardware is connected but I chose the ones that are most annoying to connect and kept the small pieces that I can easily connect manually near the workspace. I'm very tempted to get the new Arturia Audiofuse 16 rig just so I could have absolutely everything connected in one go.

.. and naturally to make it even more cool, I just bought Softube's Console 1 mk3 to go with the whole thing so that I have immediate, low CPU mixing on the fly on every channel. Surely I will be able to finally make some finished music? Right? RIGHT???? :hihi:
That's a bunch of excuses ha ha, you were already capable of finishing music before 😉. If I am not wrong you did the intro song of twin 3 and if I remember well it was sounding really good... And it was before console 1 he he.

But I must agree that the console 1 looks awesome...

Oh I've managed to finish plenty of music but it's always been commissioned or otherwise paid work. So yeah, the Twin 3 teaser and Pro-R teaser music I managed to do quite easily but it's a different beast when working on your own projects.

Pro-r of pro-r2?
Just being off topic one second, talking about these small teasers, this from Uvi is legendary. I loved the song so much I instant bought the extension.
