MIDI keyboard is disabled

I have connected a midi keyboard (miditech i2-mini 32) to my pc. However, even though it is recognized by Waveform, when I check the MIDI Device section of Setting, it is marked as invalid and I cannot input any data. Please let me know how to solve this problem.

What do you mean 'marked as invalid'? Do you mean that it shows in Settings->MIDI Devices as 'Disabled': In which case click on that word to Enable the input

A screen shot from you would be helpful as you've provided very little information on your setup.

When you change a track input to your MidiTech and press keys, do you see green activity lights on the input?

If not, Waveform isn't receiving data from your keyboard. Go to the Settings tab and ensure your keyboard is Enabled, with a green checkmark, and it's set up for Input. It should say either Disabled (in red) or Enabled (in green). I've never seen it say "Invalid."

If you do see green lights when you press some keys, Waveform is recognizing your keyboard. But make sure you have a sound-generating plugin to the right of the track.
