Open question - am I right in saying that everyone who had the issue has it resolved in 2.0.5? Is there anyone out there on 2.0.5 who still does have the problem? I know there are other CPU issues some have had, I mean specifically the spiking even when idle?
Nobody answering makes it quite clear...

But to be even clearer, I was having a little issue with the v1 (no deal breaker as some try to say but basically recognisable spikes). These issues have disappeared with v2.0.5 (comparing the same presets between v1 and v2).
Good news, thanks.

- Atmospherica 2

That was it tbh.

Nah, you really missed the point but whatever.

I'm more interested in performance, workflow and stability than features that for me hold little to no value, as I see them more fit for someone making sequences or expansions to sell to people who treat avenger like a glorified nexus. So from my perspective I see an arbitrary paywall for future performance improvements and bug fixes and for me it's not worth it for that reason alone, let alone if I have to pay for it twice. That's literally it. Agree or disagree with it, it's fine to have different opinions, you know.

It is always fine to have different opinion.
So you have stability issue with avenger? I worked the full week with it quite heavily present in my track and and I had no issue. Overall Adobe about 6 months, I feel avenger v1 and 2 very stable and decently fast. Also, I do consider v2 have real tangible workflow improvements like the go-to or bigger mod matrix screen or overall screen clarity.

On what system are you?

Avenger 1 and 2 always stable on windows, always good sounding, always an inspiration.
Nothing to complain about.
I also have some xps and maybe about 7 presets are quite high on cpu and I don't care, cuz thousands of presets work fine.

Hi Manuel,

I hope you're well. I've encountered a potential bug in Avenger 2.0 and was wondering if you could take a moment to investigate or if anyone at the forum could confirm it.

The issue is around copying drum samples in the DRUMS tab. Here's a detailed test case:

1. Select a preset containing drum samples / drum sequence
2. Navigate to the DRUMS tab.
3. Right-click on any drum sample (e.g. CLP / D#) and choose "Copy sample to" selecting any destination slot (e.g. Slot E / SN2).
4. The sample in the new slot (Slot E / SN2) appears to be deleted entirely, and the slot becomes "grayed out". Not only is the sample missing in the new slot, but the AMP and PITCH settings also haven't been copied.

I want to mention that this functionality used to work without an issue in Avenger 1.

Thanks

Great choice using Jon Audio. The guy gets straight to the point, talks quickly yet is easy to understand, and apparently never seems to take a breath. :tu:

I had emailed support about this in the Version 1 cycle, but why can't I save avenger so it shows Favourite column on.. that is everytime I open it I have to click the Favourite button to show my favourites..
I would like it on always.
