Unfortunately the manual suggests that Outersect is not fully MPE compatible. Pitchbend is monophonic only. Unlike the prototype, it apparently won't let you determine position on the string (or modulate any other parameters) using an MPE controller's Timbre/Slide/Y axis.

Some guy who always sells free licenses for money offers Usynth Caramel by Ujam. Where can I get it for free or free with a purchase?
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

Survey for choice of free Nugen Audio plugin from list of 6 ---options include SigMod. Would SigMod allow me to host VST2 plugins in Cubase 13 (assuing VST2 really is discontinued in Cubase 13 once it's released)? The product description says Nugen Audio is phasing out VST2 support, so does that mean SigMod will no longer load VST2 plugins?
Is there much point to using SigMod with Ableton 12 Standard? Does it make anything appreciably faster in terms of workflow?

I think a lot of people use Sigmod strictly for the fuse capability where it will auto-mute above certain levels. I've never really used it as a plugin host so can't comment on that functionality. In terms of workflow the interface is not the best, and I don't think it appreciably makes any task faster but others may. I see it more as a tool that can be pulled out of the drawer and used in unique situations to stitch something up. For the 5 minutes spent filling out their survey, it's worth picking up and playing with. I give Nugen credit for being very generous every year with their survey compensation.

Yes, one per month. But I think there was a short break before the last one, too.Ou_Tis wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 8:22 pm It's been a day or two since their last freebie expired and Loopcloud hasn't announced a freebie for this month---were they doing about 1 freebie per month before?

Just a heads up about ACid Pro sale
I bought that and had to return it because it really doesn't work with VST plugins. REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY buggy. I was told (by them) they need to re-write the whole vst side of the program before it will work properly.

So sad. Acid 4 worked great with VST's.

Anyone know if these are separate codes/registration/serials or are they all bundled as one?Examigan wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 12:47 pm F.'em plus 3 expansions for €39

Update: Although I never got a direct answer to this question from VSTBuzz or from anyone here, I did find that when you add this to cart there is a drop down menu that allows you to get just the three expansions for 15 euros. These usually list at $30 for 1 title with sales taking them down by 40-50%. (With PayPal exchange fee, it came out to $17.01.) That's pretty decent IMO.

I'm really curious about that one. When it originally came out as a Pro-Tools only plugin, Harrison charged 1.500$ for it. Now that it is open to other DAWs it is "down" to 1.000$ with a current sales price of 100$.Uncle E wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 6:46 am 90% off the new Harrison MPC Channel Strip, now $99.99 instead of $999.99:

I usually don't care if companies overcharge for their plugins. Caveat emptor. However, 2 years ago Dan Worral showed in his "Why does it Null?" video that Harrison's claim of emulating a Harrison Console is essentially a big pile of BS, at least for their 32C Channel Strip.
Anybody knows if the MPC Channel Strip is actually doing something? If it has no value, this needs to be called out around here.

1.500$ usually means $1.50, which is about what I'd consider paying for it....mgw38 wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:14 pmI'm really curious about that one. Totally worth it. I’d even pay $1.50000000000 for it.
