You have the Pro version, there is a cross grade offer for the ultimate._al_ wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2023 6:05 amWhaaat??bite_me wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 7:32 am The number of available custom profiles depends on the edition of Realphones you've purchased."![]()
Guess I missed that bit![]()
I wanted two EQs, so I could I could use the second systemwide, for watching Netfix, youtube etc on my monitors![]()
Only got the 3 headphone version though. Saw no info about upgrading giving more EQs!

As I bought my license last November, I got the V2 upgrade free.
Having compared the two, I definitely prefer version 1.8 to the new one.
The sound quality is harsher, to my ears, in V2
There are a couple of nice additions in the new version, but not enough to make up for the difference in sound quality.
I'll stick with V1.8 for the time being. It works better for me.
I wish there was a downloadable PDF version of the manual though

Is it more of a general audio routing/EQing issue, or one of having multiple Realphone headphone profiles active simultaneously? The former is probably easy enough to fix (did that recently), the latter, not so sure._al_ wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2023 6:05 amWhaaat??bite_me wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 7:32 am The number of available custom profiles depends on the edition of Realphones you've purchased."![]()

To be fair it is quite largely announced in their web site.rj0 wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2024 3:49 amIs it more of a general audio routing/EQing issue, or one of having multiple Realphone headphone profiles active simultaneously? What I did is buy morphit separately and bought the light version of real phones.
This way I don't have any limitation.
I generally use morphit during my whole mixing part and real phones just at the end while finishing mastering.

I would advice you to follow the topic on Gearspace :Electric Mayhem wrote: Fri Jan 05, 2024 10:20 pm As I bought my license last November, I got the V2 upgrade free.

The dev is present there and already gave lots of advice.

Just got around to upgrading. Been away from music for a while and quite frankly I can't remember what V1 sounded like, but the new environments are spookily realistic, to the point where my brain automatically thought I might be waking up the neighbours by playing music too loud.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.
