Thought I might ask here as we all use soundcloud: For more than a month now at the end of any soundcloud playlist I've made it autoplays the same god awful song. Instead of going through my likes it just plays the same terrible song. I banned the artist but it still keeps playing it. Starting to get a bit upset about it. Not even a genre that I have ever liked any song.

How can I make it stop other than never making a short soundcloud playlist?

Edit: there is an autoplay button I can turn off. Thank god, thank god, thank god. thank you, NeverBeenInARiot.

Hi guys, here's my entry for this month.

I used 35x UAD PolyMAX (new to me, I love this "little" synth) in Logic Pro.

Klevgr. Pana for panning, and on the master: Klanghelm DC1A, Softube Drawmer S73, Korneff Audio El Juan Limiter, and Lindell Audio TE-100. Also Ghz Loudness RC2 and TDR Prism for monitoring.

No other outside processing, only the effects onboard PolyMAX.

Hi everyone, here is my submission. The track was produced entirely with free open source software. The synthesizer of choice was Surge XT.

It's probably question someone asks before and I am asking just out of curiosity, but... I am curious about that "One Instance" song. In theory I can produce preset in PhasePlant that will play different OSC (or even section) when different velocity is used. So I can produce preset that contains basses, drums, leads and pads and it sill will be single instance. Not that I want to - I made my song already, but in theory - is it allowed?

Small example (for fun - a different way - preset that plays everything by pressing single note):

Basically a "single instance" means all the audio MUST be produced by a single instance of the chosen VSTi . How you achieve this is up to you.

e.g. Clever routing, using multiple MIDI tracks with different MIDI channel numbers fed into the same VSTi, and then programming the VSTi to respond by playing different instruments via the channel definition. Your method is another way, using the MIDI velocity as the differentiator.

Some people can use a "split keyboard" or regions or some similar technique to play different instruments depending on the MIDI note number.

Many ways to achieve a single instance effort, easier in some synths vs others.

Maybe some people who have done "one instance" tracks could chime in with the technique they used???

I did a single instance with Surge. I used the keyboard split, and moved between layered sounds with modwheel, aftertouch and several of surge's macros. Production was not great though, as I mostly played it in a couple of takes, using MPE controller (Sensel Morph) then edited the recorded midi. OSC138
