Haha, FWIW I'll be getting Z3 of course... the thing is, understanding how a single oscillator works will be important to get complete value out of the full version when available, and I'll be able to learn probably 80% of the synth before it's released and get a start on making oscillator presets.

I'll probably lock myself away and disappear from family/friends for a few weeks once zebrallete is released. Won't have the bandwidth for much else.

1st post has details
urs:
While "beta" means "feature complete but still a bit buggy", we hope to go public soon after NAMM. We'll then spend the coming weeks and months fine tuning the user experience and its sonic powers with the help of your feedback

1st of Feb would be very ambitious as we're gonna be on the plane home. We already have a list of something between 10 and 20 bugs we wish to address before going public, dunno how that bodes with jet lag. I'll try to crunch through it before my vacation from mid February.

We can play with buggy beta too ;)
Murderous duck!

beta tester was able to do a 200dB burst... not gonna give that to you just yet 8)

That means theres now a slot for 1 tester.

Nothing a good brick wall limiter can’t handle. 🙂

Edit: Ah, I was beaten to it. 😊

My sound card is in 16 bit mode i.e. it doesn't go above 20 * log10 2^16 = 96.3294 db burst.
I also know dark science of limiter on master.

Zebralette 3 is already a "killer" synth :hihi:

Post

I‘ve had this issue before. Unfortunately, back then, the issue would somehow corrupt the audio driver and the burst could only be stopped by quitting the DAW and rebooting the audio interface. If that issue is the same, limiters will not work.

That sounds like a very different problem from a loud, bursty plugin.
