and its obvious you havent understood the communications (if that is in fact 'technically' what they are) in this threadrpc9943 wrote:yeah its obvious you dont teach english lol
oh dear ... models of communication ... technical realm ... encoder>message>transmission>decoder ...rpc9943 wrote:music isnt a process of communication, at least in the technical realm. its the message. I sure hope youre not teaching students this. There are specific models of communication and music isnt one of them. What are you talking about its a process of it?
A conversation isnt a process of communication either, the process would be the different models, such as the encoder -> message -> transmission -> decoder etc etc

... were (at least trying to be) musicians / producers / whatever here ... NOT students of meta-communication (except putte and you obviously but puttes understanding goes WAY beyond the simply technical and he can probably put what im about to say much better) ... in practical terms (since thats what matters) the listener couldnt give a shit whether music is the communication or the encoder or the message ... if the music touches them in ANY way and they can take ANY meaning from it then music (or any art form for that matter) IS about communication between two entities and to pick that apart any further is missing the point ...
its all right mate ... ill do it for you ...aMUSEd wrote:I'm not getting into a silly argument about this - it's very simple really.
