Hey,

just wodnering is it possible to take my clip of a recording and "trim" the wav file? So that the file doesnt take up the space otherwise

You can trim the clip to whatever size you want within Tracktion and render the clip into a new one. Then later on find the orphan clips and delete them.

really funny guys really funny

oh ok i just thought that there might have been an actual clip trim thing so it could do all those steps realtime.

Also, where is the clean out orphan clips again?

Tracktion deals with clips non-destructively thats whats good about it. You can also open the wave up in a wave editor (control-w) and trim it in there, but then it probably wont be aligned when you bring it back in Tracktion. Anyways the find orphans is in the projects tab, click on the project and look for the find orphans button on the bottom panel.

One of the first things I learnt when I studied to become a sound engineer was also one of the first things I picked up on when I started doing tech support for a pro DAW company. Ron I'd like to share this with you if I may?
