I am trying to have synth layers on a single rack. in this case two Musynths on a single rack receiving midi from a single track on the composer.
It seems when I try and place two Musynths in a rack the audio out of the rack stops.
I tried to find away to open the modular area of a rack to check connections but that seem unavailable as well.
I was able to go into the modular are of a single Musynth and add another Musynth but that seems like it could be more elegant.
I was also unable to have two targets (two separate racks) from a single track. Im pretty sure I could get around this in the modular area of the composer but not certain. Still less elegant than one rack.
Is there a better way to do this?

Just as an alternative: You could also insert a Patch Point in the composer modular area and connect the track to that Patch Point and connect the Patch Point to multiple composer racks. Advantage of this way is that you will see the layered racks directly in the rack desk.
So there are several ways of doing this.

Yeah, I figured there was a way to do this. It will come in handy for other routing duties...Thanksmutools wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 2:44 pm Just as an alternative: You could also insert a Patch Point in the composer modular area and connect the track to that Patch Point and connect the Patch Point to multiple composer racks. Hmmmmm....I was able to insert a Mux modular into a rack slot which allowed me to have MuSynths in parallel.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 3:26 pmEmbarrassingly enough....that term is new to me.... Ill check it out. Thanks.

Look in the Browser or click a rack slot and find this:

The "Multi Synth Rack" is a MUX preset.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 5:12 pmHmmmmm....I was able to insert a Mux modular into a rack slot which allowed me to have MuSynths in parallel.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 3:26 pmEmbarrassingly enough....that term is new to me.... It's in Factory -> Instruments -> Templates.
As it's a MUX preset both the front panel and modular architecture can be fully customized, if you want.

Simple & handy. I never knew it was in there either, but I do now. Adding a Key Splitter Module in there will make it great for pads. I was just doing that inside a big MUX but putting each synth into its own Rack is much more tidy.
